The Nightingale

Woof. So good it hurt. You anticipate what is going to happen to these characters through your knowledge of the Holocaust and it makes your heart hurt as you read this realistic, empowering, tragic tale of 2 sisters that showed bravery and humanity. Starts slow but picks up. Not a happy summer read but I’ll be thinking about it for a while.
